Improve Your Cooking Skills – The Institute of Culinary Education in NYC

Enrollment at ICE is the best way to preserve a culinary future in the New York area. Weekend and evening classes are available, and for each diploma students must complete a 210-hour externship.

Programs

Culinary Arts Diploma

This program focuses on three main principles: practice, theory, and the art of cooking. Students spend 440 hours in the classroom, and will learn how to cook quickly and efficiently by using various cooking and tasting methods.

Culinary Management Diploma

Technically licensed as a business diploma, this program covers the basics of marketing and cost control, as well as how to supervise and hire staff. Students of this program could complete their diploma within 26 to 35 weeks.

Pastry and Baking Arts Diploma

The curriculum for this program uses a five-point model of theory, technique, teamwork, speed, and palate training. Students will receive 610 hours of instruction, along with 400 hours of hands-on training in a kitchen.
